दो अनमोल रत्न - समय और धैर्य (Part 1)
यह मानव स्वभाव ही है कि आकांक्षाओं व आशाओं के पूरा ना होने पर यह सोचने के स्थान पर की हमारी मेहनत में क्या कमी रह गयी है उससे भागने का प्रयास करता है और सोचता है कि ईश्वर ने मेरी तकदीर ही ऐसी बनाई हैं या मैं ही क्यों दूसरा क्यों नहीं? दोनों ही स्तिथियाँ हमें आगे बढ़ने से रोकती हैं और हम दिवास्वप्न मे जीने लगते हैं।
या फिर किसी ऐसे चमत्कार की तलाश में लग जाते हैं जो पलक झपकते ही हमारी सभी समस्याओं या सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा कर दे। हम स्वयं कोशिश नहीं करते हैं और ना ही किसी की बात मानने को तैयार होते हैं। जो लोग दूसरों की सही सलाह मान लेते हैं और अपने जीवन में उतार लेते हैं वही आगे चल कर अपने स्वप्नों को पूरा कर पाते है।
इस साधु के पास ना जाने कितने ही लोग अपने स्वप्नों को पूरा होने की आशा लेकर आते होंगे परन्तु साधु की बात सुन कर वापिस चले जाते होंगे। किसी ने भी उसकी बातों को समझने का प्रयास ही नहीं किया होगा और जिसने भी उसकी बातों का मर्म समझ लिया उसने ही जिंदगी में वो सब पा लिया जो वो पाना चाहता था। वास्तव मे समय और धेर्ये ही सच्चे हीरे मोती हैं जो मनुष्य के सभी आशाओं को पूरा कर सकते हैं।
एक साधु घाट के किनारे बैठ कर रोज चिल्लाया करता था जो “चाहोगे सो पाओगे, जो चाहोगे सो पाओगे"
बहुत से लोग वहां से होकर गुजरते थे पर उसकी बात पर कोई ध्यान नहीं देता था और उसे पागल समझते थे।
एक दिन एक युवक ने वहां से गुजरते समय उसकी बात सुनी और उसके पास आया। उसने साधु से पूछा -"महाराज आप बोल रहे थे कि ‘जो चाहोगे सो पाओगे’ तो क्या आप मुझको वो दे सकते हैं जो मैं चाहता हूँ?"
साधु उसकी बात सुनकर बोला "हाँ बेटा तुम जो कुछ भी चाहते हो मैं उसे जरुर दूंगा, बस तुम्हें मेरी बात माननी होगी। लेकिन पहले यह बताओ कि तुम्हें आखिर चाहिए क्या?"
युवक बोला - “मैं हीरों का एक बहुत बड़ा व्यापारी बनना चाहता हूँ।“
साधु बोला, कोई बात नहीं मैं तुम्हें एक ‘हीरा’ और एक ‘मोती’ दूंगा, उससे तुम चाहे जितने हीरे मोती बना सकते हो और ऐसा कहते हुए साधु ने अपना हाथ आदमी की हथेली पर रखते हुए कहा, पुत्र, “मैं तुम्हे दुनिया का सबसे अनमोल हीरा दे रहा हूँ, लोग इसे 'समय' कहते हैं, इसे तेजी से अपनी मुठ्ठी में पकड़ लो और इसे कभी मत गंवाना, तुम इससे जितने चाहो हीरे बना सकते हो।“
युवक अभी कुछ सोच ही रहा था कि साधु ने उसकी दूसरी हथेली पकड़ते हुए कहा, “पुत्र, इसे पकड़ो, यह दुनिया का सबसे कीमती मोती है, लोग इसे 'धेर्ये; कहते हैं, जब कभी समय देने के बाद भी परिणाम ना मिले तो इस कीमती मोती को धारण कर लेना, याद रखना जिसके पास यह मोती है, वह दुनिया में कुछ भी प्राप्त कर सकता है।“
युवक ने गंभीरता के साथ साधु की बात पर विचार किया और हीरों के एक बहुत बड़े व्यापारी के यहाँ काम सीखना शुरु कर दिया। मेहनत, ईमानदारी और धैर्य रुपी मोती के बल पर एक दिन वह हीरों का बहुत बड़ा व्यापारी बन गया ।
Moral of the story
आशाओं व इच्क्षाओं के पूरा ना होने पर उस स्तिथि से घबराकर भागने या किसी जादू की अपेक्षा रखने के बजाये हमें धैर्य रखना चाहिये, हो सकता है समय अभी हमारे अनुकूल ना हो परन्तु आने वाला समय निसंदेह हमारे लिए अच्छा होगा, यह विश्वास मन में होना चाहिये ।
कामयाबी उन्ही को मिलती हैं जो विपरीत परिस्थतियाँ आने पर अपना धैर्य नहीं खोते हैं और मेहनत करना नहीं छोड़ते हैं। यदि हम अपने स्वप्नों को पूरा होते हुए देखना चाहते है तो हमें अपने आप पर विश्वास और धैर्य रखना होगा।

A very insightful story and the principle of life.
ReplyDeleteWhen something untoward happens, we have a tendency to see outward to find whom to blame and ask God Almighty – “Why me”. But at the same time, when some something extraordinarily good happens to us unexpectedly, we don’t ask God Almighty – “Why me”. We need to work for achieving a desired result. I’ve read somewhere that “LUCK” means “Labour Under Correct Knowledge”. In case any of the above four elements are missing, we don’t achieve the desired result.
Time is a relative factor depending upon what we are requiring it for in a particular moment. If we are waiting for time to get over for going home after work, it passes on very slow; whereas if we are to catch a train, it passes on very fast. In fact it passes on at its constant speed and it is our expectations that determine its speed. Also time is the only thing available to everyone equally all over the world and neither it stops for anybody; nor it come again for anyone to get a second chance.
Whenever we are in a problem, we need to face it. In such a case, it is भाग लो (run away) or भाग लो (take part). The more we run away from it, farther we will be from its solution.
Therefore, very aptly it has been concluded in the above story that we need to have patience and not to shy away from hard work in order to achieve the desired outcome.
